Music (Classical & Light )
Indian classical music is the art music of the Indian subcontinent.
The origins of Indian classical music can be found in the Vedas, which are the oldest scriptures in the Hindu tradition dating back to 1500 BC.
There are two forms of Indian Classical music.
Hindustani
Carnatic
We prefer to teach the Hindustani Classical Music.
Hindustani classical music is the Hindustani or North Indian style of Indian classical music.
The rhythmic organization is based on rhythmic patterns called tala. The melodic foundations are called ragas.
Hindustani musicians name these pitches using a system called Sargam:
Sa (Shadja) , Re (Rishabh) , Ga (Gandhar) , Ma (Madhyam) ,Pa (Pancham) , Dha (Dhaivat) ,Ni (Nishad) ,Sa (Shadja) .
We are also focussing on the light or bollywood music sessions. Being in mumbai if you don't learn bollywood music you will miss the biggest entertainment and melody of all time.
Apart from bollywood music we are also teaching melodious non-bollywood light songs. People who are not willing to learn classical music but wants to fulfill their music passion, can learn light music to get their passion fulfilled.
